  Good, but not as exhaustive as I hoped for.

  I purchased this app to help remove some very annoying popup Adware windows/tabs that I was experiencing. The app was very fast and scanning my system and found one suspect file and removed it. After rebooting my computer, the problem still persisted. Upon scanning again, the app reported no found files but the issue persisted. I’m not sure which adware it removed, but it did not remove the TopDeal / Deal Top adware that was on my computer. If you have the TopDeal / Deal Top adware, search for .. read more those terms in the Microsoft Support Community and you’ll find some manual instructions on how to remove it. The only reason I’m rating the app a 3 instead of a 4 or 5 is because it didn’t fully resolve my issue. Granted, it must be challenging to stay on top of all of the adware variations out there and update your app, but that’s the category this app is in. I’ll keep it installed and will check for updates. Again, if you have the TopDeal adware, this app in it’s current version won’t remove it. But your milage mary vary on other issues so it’s probably worth the $1.99.

  Definitive protection, fast and effective, and responsive support team

  I have Malwarebyte on Windows and decided to take on BitMedic for PC. The interface is very intuitive with complete separation of concerns that captures what an antivirus software should be doing in the background. Threats are quarantined in the folder of my choosing since I do not want the system level threats sitting in my user folder by default. Scans can be scheduled but also done adhoc, which is helpful when I just happen to download a file on the fly. Once I upgraded from PC Sierra to High Sierra, there was a glitch which resulted in an error about permission to locate the monitored volume.   The Internet is a scary place and….

  It seems like there are too many sites where I get silly pop ups telling me my computer needs this or that or my computer has this or that. I’m not stupid enoungh to click on those popups but I thought better safe than sorry even though the Windows experts say you don’t need it so I bought BitMedic AntiVirus.I can’t tell that it has slowed my system any and it’s easy to use. It catches the eicar files of all kind and hopefully it’s going to catch anything that wants to find it’s way to my Window.. read more s. I had to help someone that clicked on something they shouldn’t have on their Windows and I spent over a hour researching and digging through folders and files to finally get rid of some silly popup that wouldn’t go away so I’m hopefull that BitMedic will save me some agravation.   This app I could trust the most and seeking to protect my Windows from Malware!

  I’ve to purchase this app from the App Store on my Windows. I love to have the real-time protection (24/7) software but I do have one like Avira but I seem to love this app more than Avira for a reasoning. BitMedic Antivirus software for Windows is almost lightweight but doesn’t put a lot of pressure on scanning. I would love this developer to add the aditional option like; Anti-Ransomware, and Anti-Keystroke Logger. This would mean that potentially to increase a lot of users who would buy this,.. read more but, that idea might be my own opinion.
