What is Live Wallpaper Engine Pro? Live Wallpaper HD is an app that offers a variety of beautiful, themed scenes to add life to your desktop. It includes a clock and weather widget that can be customized to your liking, and you can also create your own personalized wallpaper using your favorite pictures. The app features 14 live desktop wallpapers, a detailed weather forecast window, current time in various analog or digital styles, and current conditions and weather forecast supporting multiple locations. It also includes a show desktop functionality that doubles as a screen saver, hot corners to activate the app as a screensaver, and an informative Dock icon that shows weather conditions and temperature. The wallpapers can be selected individually or randomly with a timer, and the app can show either Fahrenheit or Celsius temperature units. Most wallpapers are in Retina resolution (2880x1800), and moving scenes are all Full HD (1080p).

Good but dangerous

My original review is below. However, what I found when I uninstalled this program from an employee’s computer, was that upon deleting the program it deleted ALL of the desktop files. This would have been unrecoverable, and a disaster, if not for the use of the iCloud backup for the desktop. Granted, no one should store files on the desktop, but be advised that this is a serious flaw and could be an unrecoverable issue for others. This wallpaper is pretty nice. Comes with live wallpapers in HD and it looks good. I like the weather widget with its multiple days and locations settings. You can configure this to work with your own images too, in the custom settings. However, there is no adjustment available for the placment of the clock or weather widgets and the makers seem to be stuck on round analog clocks only. This would rate higher if I could put things where I want them. Since I work on this Windows, their clocks amd weather are behind my work and it would be nice to place them on the side where I can see them at a glance.

Like the scenes

I could stare at the sun setting over the water forever. Primary issue is it activates when I am typing or watching a movie. Shouldn't it only activate when there is NO activity on mouse, keyboard, or screen? Secondly, when I open my laptop and log in, the scene hesistates and the waves in the water are moving quite fast. It takes time for it to smooth out and run normally. I would like more picture option also.I hope they keep updating it and make it better. For now, it's one of the better ones that show weather.

Was very pleased

I was looking for a 3D Christmas screen saver for Windows and found several but got the message when trying to install that the program was out of date and get an updated version which there was none. I then came across this program and not only did it have what I wanted but included several 3D type screen savers and even had the weather , time, & temp. Great program!

Love the movement

It works flawlessly on my Windows and PC ... It feels like I'm looking out the window at the ocean. I haven't tried to delete the program so I cannot speak as to any problems with that portion of the program. I have the big transparent clock and the transparent weather along with a beautiful picture of the beach on a rainy day with a rainbow ... it doesn't get any better than that!
