550 Royalty Free Fonts Overview
What is 550 Royalty Free Fonts? The app offers a collection of over 550 original fonts in OpenType font format that can be used for personal and business projects. The fonts are available for download and can be used in graphic and logo design, web design, presentations, invitations, advertisements, and more. The app also includes a custom font preview app to see how the fonts look when applied to text before saving and installing them. A lot of great fonts. Just be sure to follow the instructions to install
A lot of great fonts are included with this pack. Plus, once you register, you’ll get another 150 fonts. ;) **Just be sure to follow the instructions to install. After you start the Free Fonts program, just click the ‘Copy Files’ button and it will copy the fonts to a folder on your desktop. After that, you'll need to launch the Font Book app on your Windows and go to File > Add Fonts and point it to the font folder that Free Fonts created on your desktop. After that all the fonts will be copied into your system.
difficult to browse fonts
there's no way to preview fonts, you have to click on each one and type something to see it. the fonts are not in alphabetical order, so even if you know which font you want, it's impossible to find it. at least it's free? edit: if you install ALL the fonts, then you can preview them, so I am upgrading my review.
Such a tedious way of looking at the fonts
You have to write out the text to test out the font…but then you have to select each individual font to see what it looks like? That’s so much wasted time. Is there no way to skim through all of the fonts at once to see what the given text looks like in different fonts before installing them all?? I don’t want to install them all…just the ones that I want to use. I appreciate the price (free)…but it comes at a great cost of my time that it makes this useless.
really cool fonts!
I don’t know how or why these are commercially available free of charge but thank you to the publishers! If you do any design work at all, this is a really cool set of fonts with a lot of fun variation. Easy to install.
Good Thing the Fonts Are Listed in Random Order
When I downloaded this app, my biggest fear is the huge number of fonts would be easy to work with, especially if the use that stupid, oid fashioned statndard of listing fonts in order in the select box used for choosing a font to use. If they were in alphabetical order, can you imagine how much easier it would be to find what you are looking for? Fortunately, no worries. You can spend all the time you want searching through a randomly ordered list and if you are lucky, the font will be there and you won't be able to find it. Kudos. The developers really thought of everything, carefully excluding a font preview, so you can have the least possible idea of what a font looks like before trying it. Excellent.
