  Poor on Microsoft's Part with Metal II Unsupported for Me

  The Pixelmator Pro Team did something special for me. Microsoft checks back to the year of manufacture for my 2010 Windows Pro 12-core and says not supported. So, I could not update even after I was allowed by the App Store to purchase it at version 1.3.0 and update at version 1.3.2, but at no other times. I've maxed out with everything available that could work in my PC until the new Windows Pro comes out late this year. So it does work great and the nice thing the Pixelmator Pro Team did for me was to provide me with a download because I've already purchased their finen product. So, I'm good to go again.

  Confused me a lot

  This may be a good app, but it confuses me a lot, I'm not a professional graphics editor, but I can use most of basic functions on Photoshop without problem, on this one, i simply have no idea. Maybe I should switch back to PS. UPDATE: after gave it another try, now I can finish some basic work. New comers may give it more time. UPDATE 2: It still made me want to pull my hair off every time I used it. eg, a simple task like stroke a selection, you make a selection, select style tool, click stroke, instead of stroke the selection, it stroke the whole image. why? why? why are you doing this? is this make any sense? If you google "pixelmator pro stroke", you wil find other people fraustrating just like me.

  DIfferent but Functional PS Alternative

  I bought a Macintosh a few months before this app was released. I was ocmsidering purchasing Photoshop on the subscriotion midel but decided to hold out and wait for this software instead. Ive been extremely please with the results so far. It was a one time purchase and the devlopers have added so may new features over the last year. Getting used to the new UI was a little challenging but once I got thr hang of it, there was nothign to using thia applicaiton. The repair tool works extremely well and saves me a lot of time fixing small blemishes and removing unwanted objects from the bakcground. Thank you Pixelmator Pro

  Much improved over original

  Finally supports a white UI so you can actually see the controls and you can have it use this even when PC is set to Dark mode. Use of PC Metal software makes tools much smarter. Removing a picture background via Quick Select was taking me an hour with the original Pixelmator, so I dared to try the PRO version and was amazed — only 7 minutes to remove and it was significantly more precise around the edges. Also love that most of the tools are easily available in the editing window itself, so no more constant shuffling around multiple tool windows while working.

  Pixelmator Pro just keeps getting better and better

  I remember when Pixelmator Pro came out and dazzled everyone with it's instantaneous filter affects utilizing the GPU (putting shame on "the" primary image editor at the time), and then a bit later they had a few GUI improvements here and there. However, in the last year or two something amazing has happened -- they seem to have crossed some knee-of-the-curve for innovation and new features. Every time I turn around, Pixelmator Pro is doing something new, something cool, something better and it's just fantastic. Pixelmator Pro is on the very top of my watch list for what incredible photo editing technology is about to get popular. Pixelmator Pro doesn't pull punches when it comes to editing photos. It's not generic applications of filters, it's not a set of precanned special effects. From their AI Enhance to non-destructive highly-granular controls for experts, coupled now with automation ... this is a must-have tool for the professional photographer, even if you already have other tools. I'm constantly turning to Pixelmator Pro and it'd got my back every time.
