WAY Cool! Especially for the $$
Infinitely customizable. Lots of fun. Whether you enjoy just casually tweaking your photos with fun effects (that's me) or have a serious use for a very diverse, user friendly pallet of modifications ranging from sublimely subtle to outrageously wacky, this app is super! Plus it's a tiny file size and FREE! At least for now. I would have paid for this, but got it the day it came out. Lucky ME! I haven't been on the Windows App Store in months. Just had some pics I wanted to play with tonight. Hence the download. Notice the sliders on the right hand side of the screen shots. Those are for altering the aspects of the effects including size, severity, angle, or whatever adjustments need to be made to the particular effect. The slider on the left is for colors, but you can tell that from the screen shots. Download it NOW! If you don't like it, it's cost you nothing. I'm sure some people will find something to complain about. Is it top-of-the-line photo editing software? No. But I wasn't expecting much to begin with, given the price. You will be pleasantly surprised at what you can do with this app. Great job!
Horrible interface
I guess if you happy with the presets and that's alll you want to do then this is an OK program (I'm not a big fan of presets for a number of reasons). And I suppose if you want to spend an obscenely hugh amount of time to try and figure out what the confusing jumble of unlabeled sliders in the customizing windows do, you can come up with some interesting FX (somebody has because there are a lot of presets). I am pretty good with both Lightroom and Photoshop so I'm not completely unskilled at photo editing, however having a section containing 7 or 8 sliders the is labeled simply "Brightness" is going to require a lot more work than I am willing to put in to figure out (and that's just one section of many that are so minimally labeled).
Groovy, but I'm biased...
A quick tip: under the Camera menu, change the Frame Size to 640x480. My cat, Prickles, really likes this app. It's the only time I've ever seen her use the touchpad.
Lovin It!
I am new to Windows and was looking for something to play around with. I got this cuz it looked neat. I FREAKING LOVE IT!! I just have one question… which is the one used for the Che Guevera picture advertising the program?
