What is Blot? Blot is a mobile game app developed by Majestic Software. The game features a fun-loving blob of ink named Blot who goes on an adventure and the player gets to join him. The objective of the game is to help Blot avoid obstacles such as pencils and thumbtacks while riding a streak of paint, collecting coins, and picking up Boost Buddies to power up the Boost Power. The game has simple single-click gameplay and offers equippable tools, over 50 animated outfits, and four different color paints with unique powers. The game also features hand-drawn backgrounds, achievements, in-app purchases, and three exciting challenge modes in addition to classic mode. The game has received positive reviews from AppAdvice.com, AppStoreArcade.com, TouchArcade.com, and 148apps.com.

    Cute and charming game

    This game is visually beautiful and cute, the beautiful part being all of the background visuals, and the cute part being Blot himself. The controls are flawless. The only con is that it needs more features, challenges(which I call mini-games), and, overall, just MORE to it.

    Excellent

    One of the best free games I've downloaded. Simple, fun, and addicting. Not a demo of the real game like many 'free' games. Wasn't pestered once to rate or spend money for bonus features. This game is as good as free gets, and probably better than a good amount of the paid ones.

    Repetitve gameplay with little flair.

    The game is cute, especially when you dress up Blot in the costumes BUT!!! This is not enough to keep a player interested. Oh sure, they probably won’t delete it, but it’s not like they play it everyday. If you add more gameplay types or something that makes it more fun to play (less repetitive), that’d be the best course of action.

    Good… But needs more updates

    I have had this game for less than 6 months, and it is really cool! However, even with the updates, I have gotten all of the goals but one completed without buying any coins- and I am not a technology wizard… Sometimes I play Mario Kart, and that's about it… although I am addicted to Blot. I want more updates. I like the Paul Revere's ride, but not the Outback Challenge- it has too much going on, with the different things to watch out for. Also, I would like more chances to earn the tokens for outfits. And more slots in the toolbelt would be nice- it's kinda hard to choose just three. But other than that, it is an amazing app, and well worth any price (I'd be fine with $3.99, even. It's that good.) Oh, and the animals without eyes are kinda creepy. Please give them back their eyes!

    Wow...

    I've been playing this game since i was 8 on my sister's computer and I have to say, it's one that brings me a ton of fun when I play it. Sure, it hasn't had an update in 8 years but it's amazing for a game of that age. It's nice that it hasn't been deleted and I'll keep playing this for years to come.
