Tonebridge Guitar Effects Overview
What is Tonebridge Guitar Effects? Tonebridge is a Mac app that allows users to play their favorite songs in their original sound. With over 9000 song presets, users can choose from a huge collection of effects ranging from light acoustic sounds to heavy metal roars. The app works on every guitar and features intelligent feedback and noise reduction for a clear sound, low latency for real-time playing, and information about pickup settings. Tonebridge is compatible with various external audio cards and can be used as an Audio Unit in GarageBand, Logic Pro, and other apps that support AU. Users can also request presets that are not already in the app.

Update wont open as AU in Logic
So what happened? Major update has made this app useless unless you want to use it in standalone. Logic does not list it as an AU in a project but did before the update. When you do fix it can you have the AU also be in stereo since the standalone has stereo effects and when you would open it in logic before the update it was a mono effect.
Does't work on a Windows! At all!
I've been trying to make this thing work for an hour instead of creating and enjoying music. And still nothing! Tried everything is said on their site but it seems to be a problem of Microsoft not recognizing developers of this app as important enough to try to help resolve this issue. Every time after trying to use it on my Windows I get so frustrated I dont want to play anymore. I hate my guitar, I hate my playing skills I just dont wont to continue doing music. Which is of course opposite to what that I should feel. And I this feeling from experience with Tonebridge so many times I just don't know what to do. I got my love to playing guitar and not hating everything connected to it only after several weeks passes by! Your app costed me so much mental health I couldn't regain. I am in deep pain and frustration.
Better than expected
First, this is free! You can examine the settings of each preset and make adjustments as you see fit. It’s interesting for gear heads to see the effects, amps and settings they chose to emulate whatever tone you are looking for. I use it with the iRig HD 2 via USB, and works great. I do have an Ultimate Guitar subscription, and together with this, I actually enjoy practicing and learning again. I’m very busy, and keep a guitar in my office to help me unwind when I need a mental break. This together with my U.G. subscription lets me get those 10 minute or so breaks in my day and have some fun. Very, very pleased. Thanks!
Why is it that I can edit presets on iphone but not on Windows
Hello, Im trying to use the preset editor, “workshop” i think it’s called on my mobile app… I’m trying to do the same thing in the Windows app but there is no option that allows me to affect which stompboxes are in the chain, swap one amp/cab for another, etc… Is there a reason for this? I am a “pro” member on UG and like I say, it can easily be done from my phone, but since I’m not making presets for titled hit songs, but instead for my own sounds and recording work in a home studio, these mobile presets don’t show up on the desktop app…. its a great tool - would be great to have the chance to use it to it’s fullest potential
