      I Love this App!

This app is the best and most easy to use program I have found for reading text out loud. I use it for all my work in school. I love the option for changing the speed and for changing the voice of the reader. I only wish you could open two tabs at once and could change the speed it reads in the middle of it reading (instead of needing to stop the audio, change the speed, and restart from the begining). All that being said, still the best app I've come across for text to speech.

      Convienent And Simple

This is the type of thing you would hope was already on your computer but at least it was free. While it could be more fancy and allow more options, this text to speech program is more than sufficient for my purposes. Turning text to audio and making those files easily accessable while still being free. Forces a review but I think the agressiveness is what put it near the top of the search options for me to find... I endorse this app regardless.

Does What It Says, Should Do More

This app seems to be teh simplest way to transform text into an audio file. There are other ways to accomplish this so its more of a time saver than anything else… There is a feature or two that would improve this app. First is that voices are sorted alphabetically, with no other information. This means there is no easy way to tell what the native language is for any given voice…. The only work around I found is go into system prefernces and acess speech settings to see how they are sorted there… Also, it would be nice if one could create scripts…. That is to say, have the ability to use different voices to read different parts of the text. So you could, say, emulate a conversation or even have text that alternates between two different languages (thereby translating text). Ideally this can be done now, but one would have to do it line by line & merge all the genrated audio files manually.

Love the sound quality and ease of use

I learn more from documents when I can hear and read them at the same time. Speakline lets me do that easily. It is fast and the voice quality is amazing. I was listening today and noticed that the voice included sounds of the speaker inhaling between sentences. It's a small touch but it makes a huge differrence. Great job!

Never feel like reading school work

I just copy and paste whatever it is I have to read and follow along. the voice is somewhat annoying but it's even more annoying attempting to put my ADHD aside and actually sit down and read. I don't think I rlly have ADHD I just have a short attention span and don't know how to focus, especially when reading boring texts
