Teamwork Document Editor Overview
What is Teamwork Document Editor? The Document Editor is an app that allows Teamwork Projects users with editing permissions to download, open, edit, and save changes to files stored within the platform without having to upload them again manually. It works with various applications such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, LibreOffice, and Adobe Photoshop, as well as certain image file types. The app can be enabled by an admin on the site through the Integrations tab in Site Settings. Once enabled, users can download and use the app immediately. All previous versions of the edited files will still be available in the Versions area of the site.
1. Once a Teamwork Projects user with editing permissions clicks to edit a file, it'll download automatically and open the file on your Windows.
2. The Document Editor allows you to download, open, edit, and save changes to files stored within Teamwork Projects without having to upload them again manually.
3. It works with the applications that you already have on your computer, such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, LibreOffice, and Adobe Photoshop, as well as certain other image file types.
4. From there, you can make whatever edits are necessary to the file, hit save, and the edited file is automatically uploaded as a new version.
5. All previous versions will still be available in the Versions area of your site.
