    Quick, Fast, and Efficient

I’ve tried using a number of free to lite RAR file extractors and this one by far is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! I needed to quickly open an Adboe Premier file that was shared with me via Google Drive from a PC user on my Windows and did so in under 5 min inclusive of the time it took to install the Decompressor app on my computer. The other apps I’ve tried either just didn’t work or took forever to extract files. Needless to say I’ve removed all of those as I have settled on this one. Also the fact that its in the App store gives me the security to know that Developer wise its passed Microsoft’s test which is good enough for me! Save yourself the headache of other extractors and get the one that actually works. And its free!

    Easy and fast

I had trouble with .rar files all the time, always asking people to send me .zip instead. Until I found this app, I love it! Super fast and easy to use (just drag and drop and your’re done). My only question is why is it still an external app; at this point it should come by default with any Windows computer.

Novice at this but I like it so far (3 days)

I am truly a novice at this and trust in the recomemdatios of sources I consider valuable. I have not had enough experience with the program to fully appreciate its full value. My computer is still working well with a couple of new programs such as Disc Diag which actually found and removed 1.6 gigabits of useless old files which seems to have sped my computer up significantly. I am looking forward to learning more about Decompressor and the other programs I have installed. Thank you.

    Who’s Paying For These Reviews?

I see everyone raving about this tool and wonder who paid them? I had reloaded my Windows and forgot what other FREE tool I had used. I downloaded this tool and it would not work on simple set of archives I had, instead it kept throwing an error. In addition, I kept getting asked to buy one of their other products and found this very annoying. Took the time to figure out what I had used in the past, found it in the app store, downloaded it and viola! It worked on my archive set with no issues. This tool is only good at trying to sell you other products. No thanks…

    Opening RAR Files

I had not come across a RAR file till today and had to google for information on what I needed to open one on my MBP. After reading through a blog post, I decided to come to the App Store and see what was available. I chose Decompressor due the the high number of satisfied Customer ratings, and due to the fact it was FREE. I used it today and found the process simple enough. I only wish it cleanly and easily provided me with a choice of Folders to open up the compressed files. The ‘Options’ button did not really give me many options! That is the only grouse I have on my first use. I will however give the App 5 Stars because it was absolutely simple to use. Thank you Decompressor.
