What is Remote Control? The Remote Control for Harmony® Hub app allows users to control their home entertainment system using their iOS device or Mac. The app supports both iOS and macOS and is a universal purchase. Users can switch between watching TV, Netflix, Disney+, and other apps with a tap, adjust volume and channels, and navigate app menus. The app can also control activities, devices, and smart home accessories, and automatically discovers and connects to the Hub. The app works with the latest firmware version and uses secure communication protocols. However, it requires the purchase and configuration of Logitech® Harmony® Hub, and the mobile device and Harmony Hub must be connected to the same network. The app is not affiliated with Logitech® and Harmony® Hub, which are registered trademarks of Logitech International S.A.

    There's nothing like the sense of total command you get when a touch of the track pad on your PC is all it takes to move from one activity or device to the next while flawlessly operating a complex network of home theatre equipment. Why in the world it took Logitech this long to include a feature as critical as laptop control in the best remote sytem out there is beyond me. I that department, what a colossal flub. Now I can really use my Harmony Hub exclusively for all my remote needs. As far as I'm concerned, without your lap or desk-top capable of calling the shots, a hub is just another piece of remote control clutter. That said, this app, while somewhat sparse on style, rocks big time -- so well I really don't care how the display comes off visually. Each click of the track pad or mouse always hits immediate pay dirt. Logitech has finally given its customers a remote command center that's truly without equal.

    Although I do get the occassional issues when using the app or when it's open and I have trouble pulling it up maybe right after the app or OS update, 99% of the time the app works as described and even better than what Logitech has out there. Works when I need it to, does what I need it to, responds when I need it to and one of the very very few apps that is this dependable.

    A New Level of Lazy

    I used to get mad whenever someone removed the remote. With this app, I just don't care any more. Seriously, this app is WAY easier to navigate than the actual remote. Set up was a breeze. Though I tend to look for free apps, this one was well worth the price. Kuddos

    Can't find my 2nd Harmony Hub

    This is potentially a good app but I have two Harmony Hubs in my home and this app can only find one of them. The Harmony control software has no problem detecting both hubs and switching between them.
