Dominos Features and Description

1. After placement player will get points if the sum of pips at the exposed ends of the chain is a multiple of five (5,10,15,20,etc).

2. At the end of the round player also scores points for all the pips remaining in the opponent's hand rounded to the nearest multiple of five.

3. Place tiles which have a number of pips that matches one of the exposed ends of the chain.

4. Winner is the first player who reach the score of 150 points.

5. If you have no such tiles you have to draw from the boneyard one tile at a time until new one may be played.

Software Reviews and Criticism

    Minor bug

I’ve noticed a few times that although the scorre has gone over 150, the game doesn’t notice until the next play. I kept watching for it. It happens when no one has anything left - a draw. The score goes over 150 on that play. And the dominoes are reshuffled. On the next play, it recognizes the situation and ends the game. Also the game is designed to let the player win. This is a criticism I have of all your games. I don’t mind losing. It makes winning all that much better.

    Not bad, but needs work

Not a bad 5-ups dominos game, but I have a suggestion for domino placement. A click-to-choose feature and a subsequent click-to-place where you really want it to be would be helpful for us laptop players who have lost points while trying to drag the domino to a specific spot and having it torn from our drag and set in a different place than what we intended. And there are specific times I should have had first placement in a game, but the computer opponent still gets to play first. But with those issues its still fun and a way to kill some time. Fix the placement issues and I’ll up the rating.

    bugs+

Waste of time and effort. I love dominos—and can't understand why this game, whatever it is, uses the same name? 14Aug2015: Tried this game again to see if it was any better. It's not! Second game>I'm dealt 6-6 & 5-5 which, no matter whose fingers you count on, gives me first play. So "my opponent" immediately slams down the 0-0 and I lose the opening play! Will someone please explain just exactly how 0-0 got bigger than 5-5 & 6-6? Am I playing in some mirror universe? 20Feb2017: Still haven’t quite figured out how first play is selected, except once you have it, you keep first play no matter who has or wins anything. Finally figured out why the little computer between my ears sometimes goes wacky and is unable to count correctly. In this game half of the spinner isn’t counted if a tile is played on it instead of the spinner counting full count until BOTH SIDES OF THE SPINNER ARE PLAYED ON! I’ve played a lot of dominos in alot of different places but this is the first time I’ve seen this way ofMIScounting. Glad I didn’t waste my money on this game!

    10 to get in

its a good game. I believe each player should produce 10 points before being allowed to accumulate any points thereafter..certainly the computer. and moving the dominos on board could be a bit more fluid. oh yeah, and the scores should not appear before deciding where to move your dominos **fun game though, never played dominos on computer
