Software Reviews and Criticism

    Great tool

Great tool overall. All you need is your Windows and this software to complete a WiFi survey. After a walking around it provides a heat map showing signal and the signal to noise ratio. It also shows any other networks in the area. So its easy to see what networks may be causing interference around you.

    Best WiFi app for Windows

This is the best WiFi environment mapping app that I have found for the Windows. It has the technical info for a network tech person and allows one to see the signal info for each WiFi network in range from each scan location layered on your own building map. Very Nice.

    Nice but ...

If your WiFi is configured to not broadcast the SSID, then you have to upgrade to the Pro edition : ( Other than that, simple to use and useful, just not for me.

Great tool I have been using for a while

I have been using this tool for a while to map out network coverage around my home. For that purpose it is indespensible. I don't really need any of the features in the paid version, but I figured I'd support the developer with a purchase of home version. I was however a bit disapointed to find out that even after purchasing, you need a much more expensive version to do the simple task of assigning an alias to your access points. Come on guys..one star off.
