    Easy to use and gets the job done!

    I love this application. It’s very simple and intuitive. You can begin making 3d models very quickly compared to some of the bigger 3d programs. Great for beginners and those who only need to do occasional modeling.

    Missing significant function

    The good is that this package opens some .obj and .stl files (although others are buggy), and performance isOK given that it does not appear to take advantage of multi-core Macs for rendering. However, this program has no reasonable way to create a "hole" or subtract one object from another. This makes it extremely labor-intensive to create a through-hole or hollow object. The lack of any function to "subtract" or "or" objects make it very difficult and time consuming to create printable 3D designs, so I can't use it for my projects at this time, which is why I did not give it a more favorable rating. The author responded promptly to this concern on his product forum, so there may be hope for future releases.

    I Like it! Swiping around on the Windows takes some getting used to instead of the iPad where you can pinch and stuff. The cartoon shader is cool too.

    How does anything work?

    I'll be honest, I'm new to graphics development, but I have enough understanding in graphics to move around a graphical environment, and be able to do basic manipulation. The controls for Verto were… crappy to say the least. MeshMaker, a free application on here, seems to be more powerful and much easier to use then this.
