    I want my money back

you can’t connect with your bank? this is precisely the reason I purchased this app in the first place, the field to select the bank account always throws an error. I want my money back!

A Total Waste of My Money

I attempted to purchase Money (with sync) for 3 devices: Windows, iPad & iPhone in hopes of being able to regularly track business accounts and have them sync between the three platforms so that I can have access whether I'm at my desk or on the go. This has been a complete waste of my time and money. I have created an initial balance on one of my devices and I've spent 3 days trying to get the other two to sync up so that I can begin to use them. Fail. The sync instructions from the website are horrific and I've tried every possible way they have suggested with still no luck. Now, to make things worse, I've gone this morning to attempt to contact the developer through their website and the developers website is down. What a joke. It would be much easier to swallow if Microsoft or the developer provider refunds (as good customer service businesses should provide.) But I'm now out $50+ bucks and I'm going to have to fork out more to download a program for 3 devices that does it's job. Unless Microsoft or the developer can make good on this, my recommendation is to stay far away from this product!

Useless because of the messy interface

I bought this immediately after new year to try and get a handle on my personal finances in 2012. After downloading it I discovered that the it could not be used because of the poorly executed user interface. Basically, it looks like the database field names have been incorporated into the field labels so that everything is barely intelligible. "Sunday" has become "SundayShortTitle." I don't even know what "InOutcomePageTitle" was meant to be, but it's on the menu bar and it has a dropdown menu of equally unintelligible items. It isn't that some of the text is incoherent, it's all of the text. I immediately reported this to iBear and got a pretty quick response asking for more details. I sent a screenshot of the software. On the 13th of January, 11 days after I bought the software, I followed up with the developer and I got a one-line email "we are working on the fix." On the 17th of April I followed up again. I still haven't had a response. I deleted and redownloaded the software the other day and it seems to be in exactly the same state it was in in January. If you ask me, this is basically money down the drain. I'm disappointed both with the developer and with Microsoft. This is supposed to be a curated collection of apps. Not very good curation if you ask me. Since nobody seems to be protecting the app consumer, I feel constrained to write my one and only ever review of a purchased app. BUYER BEWARE.
