  Jigsaws Galore

  This is my go to game app. The selection of puzzle themes is terrific and I am never bored. I occasionally replay some but there is such a wide variety of themes available at reasonable cost that you can always find a new challenge. I love the ability to choose the number of pices, and depending on my mood can make them as difficult as I wish. It took me a while to complete all the free one. I have also downloaded my own photos and made puzzles from them with this app. This is by far the best puzzle app I have tried.

  Good, but has bugs

  I don’t want the “fun” pieces, prefer standard jigsaw pieces. I have cleared all the “fun” pieces from the options, but I still get these goofy shapes each time I open a new puzzle. I have to go into preferences and change the shape back, but it only holds for that puzzle. Same problem with the background color. It keeps the texture, and if I open options and select the color it shows what I picked. But, when I open a new puzzle the color is the standard for the texture, not the color I set in preferences. The puzzles are good, and there are a lot of them, which is nice. But, there is no ability to select a photo of my own and have it make a jigsaw from it. A nice feature, but not a game blower.

  Best puzzle App

  I have spent hours and hours working amazing puzzles, in very vivid color and detail, and you will too! Hands down the best puzzle app I have ever seen! The developers of this app really did their homework when designing this app. The only very minor gripe I have is when you complete the puzzle and see it in it's original form, you can't use it for a desktop or screen saver pic. I suppose there are copyright issues going on. Anyway, get it and you'll be enlightened and entertained for a very long time.

  Most Excellent

  I love this puzzle program! I have been playing it most evenings for years. The program behaves very much like a real puzzle with the pieces randomly scattered to begin with, and rotated randomly (depending on the settings). I tried other puzzle programs before this, and they were very dissapointing. David Gray has a yearly sale of his puzzles around Christmastime, and that is when I stock up for the next year. I have always found David to be very responsive and helpful when I email him with questions.

  Great Puzzles.

  Thanks to David P. Gray for the time spent creating a great puzzle app! Be sure to read the TIPS and OPTIONS. It will answer questions referred to in other reviews. I like to re-do the puzzles. TIPS: in the main screen, right click the photo with the check mark; options are Resume, Start Over or Delete. Start over removes the check mark and you can begin again! The CHOOSE button, main screen, gives number of pieces, size, style and if you want fun pieces or not. The little V in the bottom corner below Choose is a description of the object/place in the puzzle. Interesting to know that. The size and shape options are fun as well as helpful. My eyesight is diminishing but I can still get the pieces big enough to easily see. The fact that the pieces snap together quickly and completely is a big plus. This has become my favorite jigsaw puzzle app!
