1. Simply plug a MIDI keyboard in your computer and you're ready to play a finely-crafted instrument: a Steinway™ Model D Grand Piano.
2. Experience the authentic sound of this piano thanks to the deeply multi-sampled notes, sustain, release, pedal noise and more.

Not as expected
I was so excited to try this app out, after I purchased it, it was a big let down as it sounded way less than expected, and it aint cheap I used it with Yamaha P-105 btw, I won’t recommend it, the default yamaha piano sound was way better
Good for General Practice
This app is good for general practice and playing around, however I would appreciate a VST/AU plug to go with it. I think this still sounds better than the built-in Logic and GarageBand pianos, but recording it is a pain. Yeah, you can use Sound Flower to record back into a DAW, but that gives you raw audio, making it difficult to fix any mistakes or change keys/parts without re-recording. Considering the price, I would still recommend it to people looking only to play for fun and not planning on recording. This would easily be 5 stars with an AU/VST/AAX plug at this price.
nothing bu a single mouse click
Either by a Windows external piano board or use the mouse!!! not even configured to use the ordinary Windows keyboard
Absolutey stunning and jaw dropping virtual instrument...
Ever since I downloaded this app, I seriously have been playing my keyboard twice a day...I didn't even practice this much when I was taking lessons as a kid! It's just insane how much this sounds like a real Steinway. The sample quality is incredible hands down, but what really makes it are the nuances such as the sound of the dampers when you press and release the sustain pedal, the sound of the hammers when you push a key and so on. I've got a modest M-Audio Pro Keys 88sx and even though it's only a semi-weighted keyboard, I can still get a good dynamic range out of my playing after dialing in the velocity settings between the app and my keyboard. All you need then are good speakers or headphones to truly appreciate the sonic quality. I'm using M-Audio AV-40s and it sounds fantastic. Anyone complaining about lag or poor performance must have a slow computer or the wrong buffer settings because my 2.53Ghz MBP handles this app no problem. I haven't enjoying playing my keyboard this much in eons...thank you guys so much for this piece of software.
