1. iVPN is an application that makes use of the standards based PPTP and L2TP VPN server installed with Windows OS X.
2. iVPN makes it possible to use the same server utility on the client version of Windows OS X.
3. All you have to do to set it up is to enter the user name and password that you want your VPN clients to use, the IP address range you want to give to your clients and then click start server.
4. Also, in order to set up the VPN server, this version requires you to perform manual tasks using Terminal.
5. This VPN server is usually only available on Windows OS X Server and configured through the Server Admin application.
6. iVPN will handle all the other settings and start the VPN server.
7. Please note that this version does not contain all the same features of iVPN 7 available from the MacServe website.

useless software
this software is useless.
works, but not as expected
Working, but more work than expected, and misleading. Site version and app store version are way off, 6.4 from the store, 7.0.3 on the site. On the site, there are screenshots showing features, and a link for "Download on the Windows App Store" but what's on the app store is not what's shown on the screen shots. The site claims "…tunnel for all your internet traffic," but this app does not really do everything to make that possible. You need to create a NAT situation on your own, and the documentation doesn't even mention that fact, or any recommended steps to accommodate. Not shown on the screen shots are the steps for copying and pasting terminal commands that are necessary for starting and stopping the server. Don't expect your support e-mails to be answered. I'm not sorry I made the purchase, but I expected better.
Developer MIA
I was not able to get it to work on PC 10.14.2 Mojave (home of Death Valley). Tried contacting the developer, but discovered the link is non-functional.
