  The app does what it says and more

  This app was not the first I had purchased from this particular developer. The developer made some great content apps on iOS and I decided to give it a go when this new Windows app caught my attention on the Store’s front page. I live on creative videography and the challenges I face span from not having tools accessible enough (sky high price, more functions than I need etc.) to tools not adequate enough. I have to say that Write-On Video hits the sweet spot by incorporating some truly powerful features that allow me to make quick annotations and fun edits on videos, without jamming my PC with loads of unnecessary spins. Plain and simple. I will also add that the free version of the app does give you a taste of what it has, and it seems like the company is legit to incorporate more bells and whistles and add value to those who need to take advantage of what this app offers on a routine basis. I’d give it a 5 star as it provides what it promises and more.

  Intuitive, excellent feature set, solid online tutorials.

  Try it for free, use the online tutorials (linked from the Help menu) to get started. It’s not After Effects, but for a version 1.0 it’s got an impressive range of features at affordable subscription prices (depending on what you need). If you’ve ever used professional video editing apps, you will notice this one does not hog computer resources and the user interface is obvious. If you are new to video editing, this is a good intro app that will not overwhelm you with features you don’t need (yet). The company is responsive to support requests and feedback, and their range of software and services shows commitment to improve this app.

  Great introductory application

  Video creation is a new interest of mine, but not something i have much experience with. I was looking for an app that would let me put together a couple videos from my family vacation this summer and it was a great app for a beginner. Overall, it was pretty easy to figure out and did what I was looking for it to do. I was able to put my clips into one video, add some captions and music, and even experiment with some of the more creative features like drawing on the videos. I can already tell it's going to be a fun app to play with going forward and a great way to document future family events/holidays/trips.

  Best Video Editing App!

  I have been looking for an app to upgrade up from iMovie and after downloading this one I finally found what I was looking for. The animated captions that iMovie was lacking is provided by Write-On Video and it makes the video editing much easier. Keyframe is also a feature I will not be able to go without. This app has so many ways to edit and make videos the way you want and I cant wait to keep learning and making great clips and movies.
