CHUCHEL Overview

What is CHUCHEL? CHUCHEL is a comedy adventure game developed by the creators of Machinarium, Botanicula, and Samorost. The game follows the journey of Chuchel and his rival Kekel as they try to retrieve a precious cherry while facing various puzzles and challenges. The game features situational humor, wild music and sounds by the band DVA, and dozens of hilarious gags. CHUCHEL has won several awards, including the Independent Games Festival 2018 - Excellence in Visual Art and Anifilm 2018 - Best Game for Children. The game offers original puzzles, whimsical animations, stages inspired by classic video games, funky characters, and a soundtrack by the IGF Award-winning band DVA. Players can expect to laugh a lot and develop an inexplicable passion for cherries.

    Zero thinking involved

    very straightforward with very simple tasks. Super boring with little interaction between objects and characters. Sounds and picture are pleasing, but everything else is a waste of 9.99.

    Creative and Enjoyable

    I love the animations by Amanita in all their games. This one, while being more simplistic than their other games, was fun to figure out the challenges on each page. I believe change is good, and this game is a change from the other ones, while still being very similar. It kind of reminded me of Coco Loco for the PSP. I’m not a kid and I did not get bored playing. I buy games to be entertained and challenged, and this one is both.

    From frame to frame, it was amusing and at times hilarious. From pure frustration at chasing cherries to the small joys of accomplishing a task. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to spend a little (or a lot) of time turning off the brain and having fun.

    Compare it to other games of Amanita which of I have many beautiful memories from them, This game is just waste of time, Nothing is funny, After 30 minutes you are going to hate the sound design and voice of the main charachter. Compare it to Botanicula this is not even a game. So sad becuase Amanita games for me were always symbol of celebrating life.

    not that interesting of a game. Amanita’s other games are mostly amazing in concept, art and game puzzles. This is 'Amanita Light’
