  Not what I was hoping for

  I so wish I didn’t pay so much for this software, as I just deleted it from my Windows. I was looking for a solution to help me deal with the fact that Mail no longer has templates, and I use them several times a week. I didn’t have a difficult time setting up the template- that was all pretty easy. I had issues setting up my own custom domain email address. Once I finally got it working, I later found out that none of my recipients received their emails. There were no error warning or anything coming up to let me know that was the case. It created a huge problem for me, as the info was timely and pertainent for the recipients. Emails from support were vague and rather unhelpful. I politely asked for a refund, but they said no. They did say they were committed to getting it to work, but any of the info they gave me prior to this exchange did not work for me. I simply did not want to waste any more time than I already did trying to fix the issues when there are other alternatives that were less hassle. I’m sure they think it was "operator error," but I’ve never had an issues setting up my email software or anything of the like. So, unless you have an IT team to help you facilitate trying to get this work, I would choose another alternative. Complete waste of money for me since they won’t stand behind their product.

  Do not Do Business with this Company

  I Purchased this Software 6 months ago for a year of service. I use this program daily for my business and received an email that I would now need to purchase a license for both locations even though I am the only suer. They then closed all access to the program without notification and am unable to use the software which I have alread paid for. The previous version of this software I had already purchased and they stopped supporting and had to buy this program again and now 6 months into a year contract they stop my access. The program overall is ok, not great compared to some other services but their business practices are awful.

  Great program - quick to learn

  Crazy Expensive Service

  Unless you are a business sending lots of emails, $30/month is expensive. Their old version were nice and do the job, but if you upgrade to Mojave, the disabled older versions.

  No updates in App Store provided since version 1.8.5

  Though I have long used and really like the Mail Designer app, I am giving this app one star, because there were no updates or notices of updates provided to me in App Store since version 1.8.5 (August 2019), and no notices from Equinox that there were updates available and downloadable from the app. When I realized that there were updates I missed, and tried to update on the App Store, I was unable to do so (the infiitely spinning wheel), even though my Mail Designer 365 Business plan is valid until February 2021. When I went onto the Equinox site to look at my account, it does show that I have the 365 Business plan until next Feb. 2021., but at the top of the page it says that my "team has no subscription yet" and prompts me to buy a plan. To repeat, I already have one for which I paid almost 10 months ago! Why is there such a disconnect between Equinox and the App Store? Why were no updates offered through the App Store application since August 2019? Equinox has to do a better job of providing notices of updates to all clients who have the 365 account whether they purchased the plan through the App Store or directly from Equinox. How about letting us know there is an available update when we open the app and make it downloadable from the app? Fix this problem and I will change my rating.
