  Nice game, badly needs a new background

  I occasionally like to play Chinese Checkers and was happy to see this game in the Microsoft App Store. The problem with this game is the very distracting background. Yes, it appears that the author wanted to put a Chinese brush drawing on the background, as this gives the game a more Oriental flavor just to look at it. However, the brush drawing in this instance is actually very annoying to the point that I may not play the game much, because the background is so annoying. Unfortunately, the game does not provide the option to change the background to a plain solid color, which would be much better for game play. If carefully done, the game author could create a subtle, decorative-around-the-edge Chinese brush design that might have low contrast and not be distracting. Testing several designs would help. Offering the game player several different background to choose from, from a Chinese brush drawing, to an unobtrusive Chinese pattern around the edges, to various simple textures, to several plain colors would really help a lot. This game is worth fixing the background, so that game play will be easier on the eyes. When the game is updated to offer various types of simple backgrounds, it will be time to buy this game. Thanks to the author for the efforts so far. There's just a little ways to go yet.
