VectorView Overview

What is VectorView? VectorView is a standalone software that allows users to open and display EPS, Adobe Illustrator (Ai), SVG, and Shockwave Flash Animation (SWF) graphics files. It supports all types of EPS, Ai, SVG, and SWF files and can be used as a standard means for transferring image data between different operating systems. The app is perfect for those who buy graphics from Stock Photo sites and do not require a Vector Editing application. It has a user-friendly interface and allows users to zoom in/out both with mouse and slider control. The Pro version of the app also allows users to convert/saved opened EPS, Ai, SVG, and SWF images in other image formats such as PDF, JPEG, PNG, GIF, and TIFF.     Marginally Useful

    Does what it says. However, the next step up, the Pro version, converts to other formats only at the single size of the .eps or .ai preview, and cannot be sized upwards. If your postscript file preview is saved “small,” you get a conversion the size of an icon, period. Frustratingly close to useful, but only a tease.

    You need to purchase to export

    So I downloaded it to see what I can do using the free version - basically it justs downloads your image. No layer manipulation etc. You need to pay which is fine but why did they even just have it paid in the first place since you can't test to see what it does.

    Terrible Export!

    The export function is laughable here! What looks like a clear resolution in the app exports to a blocky/pixelated mess in an image format. Only way to find that out is by first purchasing the full app. Refund, please!

    Great SImple Viewer

    This is great. It is exactly what I needed to review logo design done for our company with out buying adobe just to confirm the quality of the work. Thank you for making this so easy. Fyi, you should create a short 1 minute video about your product on youtube. I searched youtube looking for something like this, could not find it! Can you make version for iPad?

    Conversion works!

    I tried converting PDF files to EPS and it actually works perfectly! Great job! I tried three other applications from the App Store that claim to be able to do the conversion but all failed!
