  It works decently

  I've been using it every day for about a week. For the most part, it works well. Occasionally I see a lag. Its funny to listen to a video from my Windows but the video on the tv doesn't synch up to the audio. I rebooted my computer and made sure that both the tv and the Windows were using the same router. I'm out of ideas on how to make this better. I mostly use this product to practice yoga so I'm not as concerned about the lag, but if I were really trying to watch something, I think the lag would bug me. I wish I understood the inconsistency part of the lag. I don't have a lot of bandwidth used in the house so I'm sure where to troubleshoot further.

  Should not be paid for

  Unfortunately I thought having a only 1 year old LG tv as well as a new Windows book pro would resolve some of the issues mentioned in the other reviews like the developers mentioned. This was not the case. The latency is way too large to be able to mirror your screen for viewing video content, especially if you were hoping to extend your display like I was. I usually don't post reviews, but seeing as this app is $10, which I think should be refunded since it doesn't function in a usable state, I thought I would post this. This app is definitely not ready for production use especially for the price listed. The latency started off at about 8-10 seconds and just grew from there. My router is in the same room I am connecting over wifi too. It is very much a problem with the app.

  Bad

  Do not waste your money on this app. Sure it connects to the television just fine. But then the lag hits, right away (not even kidding, right off the bat), and then every 5 miuntes or so afterward. And while the app tries to figure out why it is so terrible, the video you are watching continues on your computer. So, when the app actually decides to work for a little bit, the video jumps to where it should be on the television, leaving you clueless as to what transpired during that time. So then you rewind the video on the computer, which completely baffles the app, so then it has to stop completely, to think about to do. But, again, the video on the computer continues on. I have attempted to use this app in several locations, with various internet speeds, or bandwiths, or whatever technical jargon the developer will use in attempt to excuse it's inferior product. The app is the problem. So, if you like frustration, and flushing money down the toilet. This is the app for you. But, if you want a product that actually does what it advertises, you should take the 10 dollars you would spend on this terrible technology, and buy an HDMI cord, or an ice cream cone. Just something that makes you happy.

  Not useful for work or game

  The delay is too long, you will only see your actions on the screen several seconds later. Not ideal for display.

  Great app! Great customer service!

  Purchased the app because we had a storm that produced lightning which, in turn, knocked out my tv cable on one side of my house. (Internet still works fine.) Because of the pandemic, my cable provider cannot enter my home to fix the problem. My LG is a smart tv but older than 2019, so it does not work with airplay 2. The app is working great and is an excellent option if your tv does not work with airplay 2. The installation is quick and easy. I also downloaded the audio driver (necessary if you want to use the tv audio). I misunderstood one of the commands during set up and could not connect (the wording should be changed to avoid this). I reached out to customer service...they replied within minutes, had me send them a diagnostic report; they read it and had an answer in less than 10 minutes! They then circled back around to make sure that I was up and running! The lag is the only downfall that I have experienced, but if you only watch the tv and not your laptop screen, it's not a big deal! Definitely worth it and I would recommend it!
