What is Mirror? The app allows users to mirror their Mac screen and audio to an Amazon Fire TV, as well as stream individual video files. The app is not suitable for gaming due to a 2-3 second latency. The quality of the experience depends on the quality of the local network, and the app provides tips to enhance the experience. The app works by searching for the Fire TV on the network and offers two options: mirror the Mac screen or play a video file. The app has limitations with HDCP DRM protection for playing iTunes movies. Users can contact support for technical issues and are encouraged to give positive ratings.
