Could use an update.
I just bought this. I'm running Mojave and it doesn't look good in the notification panel. I wish it had a default appearance that's translucent and blurry like the other widgets. I can't use it now. :( If it looked like the rest of the widgets, I'd like it.
Really great, always room to improve
This "app", being primarily in the today/notification sidebar, is pretty fantastic. I'm very happy with it. I hope it continues to improve over time, just a little. I think my only request, as a user of a late 2013 Windows Pro is for some insight into the graphics card usage, and maybe more options for temperature display. It always seems to be on the cooler side of the needle, but the fan is running so …?
Love the App
This app being in the notification tray is probably one of the best, most clean and comprehensive monitors without having to open activity monitor to identify what’s going. This fits users from the everyday user to the IT pro who runs multiple VM’s inside of a Hypervisor and needs to see if there are enough resources available or identify a bottleneck.
Worthless
Purchased, specifically, to monitor the temperatures of my CPUs. Installed the main app. Installed the recommended “Helper” app. Never provided any CPU temperature information. Contacted customer support, they sent me on a wild goose chase of tracking down error codes on my system. Did what they recommended, but when I contacted them again for “next steps,” they never responded. Nothing. I then discovered iStat Menus. It may not look as nice as Monit, but at least it actually does what it advertises.
I almost gave this 1 star.
I bought this to check TEMP and FAN speed. I installed the HELPER separately, as this is needed. Then, these things were nowhere to be seen. I found from another review that you have to CLICK on the CPU circle. That's NOT intuitive. So now I know HOW to see the info I was concerned about. I think this info should be available via some little icons or something to at least let you know that it maybe wasn't CATALINA blocking the info or something... I almost gave up and then decided to see what others thought in these comments. That's the ONLY reason I now give it 5 stars.
