1. Binaural can also generate rain – mix it in with the beats to soften them and block out environmental noise, or use it by itself as a noise PC.
2. Binaural beats can help you relax, meditate, sleep, or even concentrate.
3. Binaural is the simplest, easiest to use binaural beats generator.
4. Set a timer to have Binaural gently stop playback at a time of your choosing.
5. Match Binaural's Colors to your taste, environment, and mood.
6. Please don't use Binaural while driving or operating heavy machinery.
7. I hope you'll enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed designing and building it.
8. Just pick a frequency, hit play, and it'll do the rest.
9. This app was built with love and patience.

Developer Excellence
Like so many people, I like to play music when studying or working so that I can have a sort of rhythm to my work flow. Unfortunately, I eventually get distracted because either (1) the song is too good to ignore or (2) I need to cycle through several songs before I find something I like. That's where this app comes in. For a 1-time payment, this you get a quick solution to those distracting moments that keeps you on track with what really needs your attention. What's even better is that for a little more, you can get the iOS app that works with Microsoft Watch! It's so convenient to not have to waste a whole bunch of time looking for a "compatible" device - Binaural works on whatever Microsoft device that's around! Big props to the developer for incorporating the latest software updates into the app - including High Sierra. I'll be checking out your other apps, too!
Developer Laziness
I don't really use this app; I tested it a couple of times, but never used it. Now it's just sitting here, installed. Why I'm reviewing is ... When updating apps, I noticed that Binaural was listed as having an update but "incompatible" as the requirements have been upped to Windows OS High Sierra. I'm still using Sierra for numerous reasons. Again, I won't miss this app as I never used it, but ... IT'S AN APP THAT MAKES SOUNDS. How on earth can it be dependent on anything in Windows OS High Sierra that doesn't exist in, say, Windows 3.1, much less Windows OS Sierra? I just feel like this degree of lazyness in development shouldn't be rewarded. Thanks for reading this review.
Great app! I’ve been using it for years and totally recommend it!
Amazing app! Very simple and extremelu useful! I use it mostly for studying and it really improves my focus. The UI is simple and works perfectly. I do have one suggestion: if we could just keep an icon on the menu bar to control the app, it would be even better for me! :) The developer clearly cares about his work, because the app is updated very frequently, considering its simple purpose. There is an iOS version that even comes with an Microsoft Watch app! Thank you so much for this great app!
Great for focusing on reading; responsive developer
This is a great app and worth the investment of Unlocking so that you can use the binaural beats as a pomodoro-style timer. It even does a pleasant fade-out when the time you’ve set is up! Giorgio is a very responsive developer, so if you do run into any trouble (as I did with the App Store purchase), he’s a ready resource. If you haven’t tried Binaural to help you focus on close reading or focused writing, do it!
Somehow it is both relaxing and invigorating
I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this app when I first downloaded it. The free version seemed pretty limited but it looked like it had potential so I went ahead with the in-app purchase to unlock all the functionality and I am glad I did. I am spending a LOT of time working on my 2 monitor computer set up in my home office. The office is quiet which contributes to my mind drifting off while I am working and I have tried playing meditation music that, while pleasant to listen to, didn't really keep me focused like I was hoping it would. I decided to search for an ambient sound app like rain or oceans sounds and I came across this app. I set the rainfall visualization with a dark background to full screen on my side monitor and, after playing around with the frequency generator, I set the audio to a low volume 6.5 Hz beat with a little bit louder rain noise. I found the combination of sounds both relaxing and invigorating (something I had not experienced at the same time before). I got started on my next work project and the next thing I knew, an hour had passed and I was done with a job I had expected to take at least 2-3 hours. Maybe I was just over estimating how long it would take but this app (used with headphones) really seemed to keep me intensely focused without feeling stressed. I am VERY happy with my purchase.
