BP Data Explorer Overview
What is BP Data Explorer? BP Data Explorer is a utility application that allows users to read, convert, and export data from USB and Bluetooth connected blood pressure monitors. The app is compatible with specific Omron devices and provides a free communication test interface to check compatibility. In-app purchases unlock features such as data reading, user assignment, data saving and exporting, data presentation, printing, and local database storage. The app stores data in secure XML and CSV files and supports file formats such as CSV, TXT, HTML, and CCR for export. The app requires a Bluetooth LTE 4.0+ interface for BT connection and a USB 2.0+ interface for USB connection. The app is compatible with macOS Sierra or later versions. The app does not provide medical advice and is intended for data reading and exporting purposes only.

Unable to connect with OMRON BP786N
Unfortunately, I can’t connect via bluetooth to my computer. The iphone app works great with this BP monitor, but can’t export from iphone to email, or computer. I really wanted to be able to transfer data and print out to take my Dr. appointments. Can’t seem to find another app for Omron on computer.
Dropping data during transfer
Of 11 values stored in my BP786 (for user 1), only four are transferred. I’ve tried repeatedly. This happened with prior sets of values also: not all transferred. I don’t think it’s asking too much that this app should correctly perform the one job it has.
No funciona
Esta app es pesima, no se puede conectar a mi Windows.
Won’t Detect BP791IT
I followed the instructions as well as attempting several variations and it will not detect / connect to the blood-pressure meter. I tried connecting external power as the vendors Web site suggests, but that does not help. The meter itself works fine. The system information application shows this when the device is connected: Product ID: 0x0028 Vendor ID: 0x0590 (OMRON Corporation) Version: 2.01 Speed: Up to 1.5 Mb/sec Manufacturer: OMRON Corporation Location ID: 0x14100000 / 32 Current Available (mA): 500 Current Required (mA): 100 It gets worse. When and if you manage to find the program’s support page, a cute little text box pops up stating: “This site is available for Beta test only. It has not been offered to search engines to propagate it. Our request may be discarded though. Come back in a month or so... We are late to the party. Sorry for that.” $15 is a lot of money to spend on something with such poor quality control and such a cavalier attitude toward customers…
