EXIFPurge Features and Description

1. When you take a photo with a camera or your phone, it contains a lot of information about the photo like the date and time the picture was taken, camera model, aperture, focal length, lens used, orientation, shooting mode, flash firing status and also the location data if the shooting device had GPS.

2. With the click of a button you can remove the camera, location and other technical information from a batch of photos which is embedded by the camera or the photo editing software.

3. EXIF Purge is utility that removes EXIF meta data from multiple images at once.

4. You can strip the EXIF data from images with one click using EXIF Purge.

5. You don't always have to share this data when you upload the photo online or share it with your friends.

6. All this data is called EXIF metadata.

    Worked Perfect

    I had some photos I needed to upload from my Windows to my iPhone. Realized the EXIF data is what kept sorting them as chronological order instead of how I had it in the folder. I did a batch rename on the folder and then purged it with this app, and now when I sync photos from my Windows to my iphone they are in the order that I want them! Thanks!!

    Worked perfectly first time.

    Was in a rush and I needed to strip info on a jpeg. Downloaded this, dragged image to box, designated export location and then re-opened file in Photoshop. Got info on the file and it was completely erased. Only used it on one pic so far, but worked like a charm!

    worked for me!

    Not sure why this didn’t work for everyone.. it worked perfect for me. Just purged exif data for 20 images and all opened just fine.
