Small package…great app
Good app. I paid for the upgrade and it works good. I only wish they made this for Linux becuase I am about to go to linux when my Windows quits but that will be a while. Cool feature, if you have multiple accounts and want to transfer meny from one to annother go to one and for the account pick one outo f the drop meny with a @ symbol infront of it it puts the same transaction in opposite soi t is a transfer of funds. Very fast loading, and never crashes. I only wish it had a Re-occurring payments section but then it would be a bigger program and less fast. It’s not really that big a deal to add them myself. These kinds of apps are getting far and few between. Most of them don’t work right but this one is a keeper. No it’s not Microsoft money but most people really don;t need something that involved.
CheckBook Tao
I love this app. It is easy! The only down side is I wish I could also use on my I Phone. Maybe this can be updated. But thanks for a great program Jeff
Weak Weak
I used Quicken Starter Edition 2011 for years. After I purchased the MacBookPro I found out that Quicken is now charging a yearly fee. So I tried my luck with Tao. Very sad to discover you can't split the transition even thu they said you can. And there is no catogories list. So basically you can't print a report under a catagory didnit even try printing anything. I was hoping for more. This probram isnt for me.
A good simple register program
UPDATE: I have been using this program for two years now and still like it overall. One major improvement that NEEDS to be addressed is the ability to track amortized loans within the program. Right now there is no option for that, just an opening balance and that’s it. So, over time your balances will be off from actual giving you a distorted perspective of your overall budget. Seems like this would be a simple addition, but developer seems to have stopped responding to anything. I switched to this program for keeping track of my money after Quicken decided Windows users were 2nd class. I like that it is reasonably priced and that it does 90% of what I want it to. Needs to include support for importing QFX files from websites. Recent update says that one can import CSV files, but I’ve had no success doing so.
