It’s exactly what I needed.
This is a simple check register. It doesn’t retrieve account data from the bank, nor does it track and update investments. After years of increasing frustration with Quicken I finally realized that what I really needed was a susbstitute for the old fashioned paper checkbook register. This little program allows me to manually add in my bank billpay amounts as well as the few physical checks written. The result is a continuous accurate balance including payments not yet processed and checks not yet cleared. In short, it keeps me out of trouble.
Great electronic checkbook
This is a very simple and perfect tool to keep the checking account working. Stuff like PayPal and EFT bill pay has a delay and the banking website has no easy way to track that. I just put the payment in the app and it tells me what my real balance is. I can also setup bills in advance and know what I will need in the bank to pay them. This has just the right features for me.
Great system
Although I can’t seem to figure out where I can place my check mark once the transaction clears. Also can you chance the color of the deposit amounts, it seems fuzzy in green, not to clear, other than that its pretty good.
Simple to use, just what I wanted
I wanted a simple ledger to keep my online banking transactions at home so I could easily see my current balance and such with having to log into my bank. This does just fine and it’s free. Sometimes having the kitchen sink thrown into a program is not good :)
