1. Quickly view album artwork, play/pause, skip forward and jump back through your music, with controls right in the menu bar.
2. BarTunes allows you to control iTunes or Music from your Windows's menu bar.

Need help clearing the cache
Hello! I'm mostly writing a review here as more of an inqury. Is there an easy way to find/clear the cache taht retains the album artwork in BarTunes? I recently added an album to iTunes which I gave the incorrect album artwork to, and used BarTunes with it before noticing my error. I corrected the album artwork in iTunes, but the old/incorrect artwork is still reflected in BarTunes, and I'm not sure how to fix this. Any help would be much appreciated!
nice but small suggestion
this app is free so my feeling is no negativity allowed . . . period. But, it would be nice if you could ‘rewind’ to the start of a song instead of going to the previous song. For now the controls only let you go to the song before or the song after. You know - in the case of go back: need also the single < not only the double <<
Simple, yet effective
Love the ability to rate songs from any desktop without having to navigate back to iTunes. Simple, yet effective. It could be taken to the next level with a keyboard shortcut to access the menu allowing the ability to rate songs without mouse interaction.
Perfect menu bar iTunes controller
Great little app for controlling iTunes. I started out only using the play/pause, next, and back buttons but have also gotten used to having the additional controls just a click away in the menu bar. Well done!
Ugly :x
I love Bar Tunes but the icons are so ugly compared to everything else in the menu bar. Can you allow different icon designs? Or just make the icons more inline with Microsoft's design guidelines? I'm sure they even provide some in their new icon libraries. There was another app similar to Bar Tunes called Synergy back in the day that let you install custom icons which was great because I like the icons taking up as little room as possible. Some of the designs grouped the three icons together so they take up less precious horizontal menu bar space. Would love to see something like that here. Thanks!
