What is TUNY? The Tuny Tuner app is a smooth and accurate tuner optimized for Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, and more. It offers over 100 tunings, including common and alternative tunings, and allows for custom tuning creation. The app also features capo support, a chromatic tuner, and customizable settings such as in-tune range, concert pitch, reactivity, microphone sensitivity, string numbers, octave, note names, and accidentals. Users can choose from different app themes and unlock more tunings by connecting with the Tonaly app. The app's privacy policy and terms and conditions are available on the Tuny Tuner website.
1. Do you have special ideas on how your instrument should be tuned? "Custom Tuning" lets you create tunings for 1-12 strings and specify a different concert pitch from 440 Hz for each tuning.
2. Tip: When tuning with the capo, it is particularly important that you first tune the string a little lower and then tune "from below" towards the tone.
