Audulus 4 Overview

What is Audulus 4? Audulus is a versatile app that allows users to build synthesizers, design new sounds, and process audio with low latency real-time processing suitable for live performance. The app has a clean and simple user interface that is easy to learn, allowing users to focus on sound. Audulus offers a stand-alone or audio plugin (AUv3) option, extensive node and module libraries, MIDI I/O and MIDI learn, arbitrary multi-channel signal flow, custom module design, custom vector graphics scripting for UI, and GLSL shaders for advanced graphics. The app also offers iCloud integration across macOS and iPadOS and has an active forum and discord for exciting user-created patches.

    Patches, where are all the user patches?

    I have changed my rating. Support was very helpful. It would be five stars if not for the lack of documentation. I realize this is a lot to ask of a developer but an app like this needs more comprehensive documentation. It is obviously a catch-22. I want to love this app. It’s so pretty and sounds nice. My problem is there appears to be no way to bring user patches into the AUv3 version. I don’t see a link or button. The app opens the factory patches, but not the examples I downloaded from the forum and patchstorage. Maybe I am missing something. It should be obvious in the UI, but it is not. It’s said both iPad and Windows version are available for single purchase (if I understand this right). The desktop version never connects to restore purchases. Very frustrating. Help! I want to keep this app. If I can’t bring my patches into AUv3 in AUM, there is no reason to keep it. Not interested in the limited number of factory presets. I don’t want ask for a refund. But almost $20 bucks is nothing to scoff at. Please don’t make me ask for a refund.

    Amazing!

    Simply an amazing piece of software! For those who want to tinker with audio at the lowest level you can do no better than this (especially for the price!). Plus no data collected. Many kudos to this developer for providing a professional software experience while repecting their user's privacy and data.

    Best app for synthesis or eurorack integration

    This app is by far the best iPad app for hans-on learning of audio synthesis concepts, patching up your own digital modular patch, or integrating with actual hardware! Great community to interact with if you have any questions or want to share any ideas/creations.

    wow, what an update to an already killer piece of software. hyperion is the only other modular synth that sounds this good.
