What is PeaceMaker? PeaceMaker is a game that challenges players to bring peace to the Middle East as either the Israeli Prime Minister or the Palestinian President. The game is inspired by real events in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and is available in English, Arabic, and Hebrew. Players must react to events in the Middle East using real news footage and images and can choose from three difficulty levels. The game's design assumptions include the belief that the two-state solution is the winning state, that small concrete steps are more effective than grandiose plans, and that both sides want peace. PeaceMaker has won several awards, including the Best Transformational Game at Games for Change and the Reinventing Public Diplomacy Through Games at USC.
