What is Civil War? Bull Run is a historical strategy game that recreates the first major battle of the American Civil War between the Union and Confederate armies. The game features six scenarios covering the battle of Bull Run and other significant points in the fighting, as well as smaller engagements leading up to the battle. It includes historically accurate gameplay, Civil War units, different types of formations, and advanced tactical features such as map zoom, strategic movement, and flank attacks. The game also offers hours of gameplay, detailed combat analysis, and in-depth reference charts. Bull Run is developed by HexWar Games Ltd. and is available on Facebook and Twitter.
1. This game covers the Battle of Bull Run in full, featuring the whole battle as a single mission, focus missions recreating significant points in the fighting such as Henry House Hill, and missions covering the smaller engagements in the run up to the battle.
2. Take command of an Union army of Northeast Virginia or the Confederate army of Potomac and Shenandoah and engage in the largest battle fought on American soil to date.
