What is Tormentum? TORMENTUM is a dark Point & Click adventure game where the player takes on the role of a nameless hero who wakes up in a place between fantasy and nightmare. The game features three different realms with unique architecture and creatures, 75 hand-painted stages, over a hundred additional screens, and dozens of paintings created by a mad painter. The player will encounter characters with unique personalities who will either help or hinder their progress. The game also includes 24 varied logical puzzles and minigames, a dark adventure story, and an exceptional soundtrack with over 40 tracks. The game offers moral choices that will affect the game's ending and is available in multiple languages. The gameplay lasts for 4-6 hours.
1. The game's final look and feel was also strongly influenced by the universes of games such as Demon's Souls or Dark Seed.
2. The dreamlike, nightmarish atmosphere of the game was inspired by the works of painters H.R. Giger and Zdzisław Beksiński.
3. The only vague memory he can summon in his mind is that of a sculpture atop a hill, depicting human hands reaching towards the sky.
4. Those are, however, the least of his problems as the airship descends its flight towards a huge, gloomy castle which soon becomes his prison.
