What is Art of Weird? The art app offers a range of realistic oil painting tools as well as bizarre options like Worm Pen and Candy Brush. The app features live-calculated brushes and strokes that interact in real-time with the uniquely generated, non-repeating canvas texture. Users can change and adjust control knobs in the toolbar while painting, and the app supports full-screen painting, zooming, panning, and rotating. The app also includes a seamless pattern editing mode and is based on Metal with 128-bit color and floating-point arithmetic. Developed entirely using Swift, the app offers dark mode, touch bar, wide color, multiple layers, and photo tracing mode as a Pro feature.
1. All the control knobs in the toolbar can be changed and adjusted while you paint, by using the number keys (1, 2, 3...) on your keyboard.
2. You can remove the toolbar if you place the pointer on it and scroll toward the screen/window edge, or if you press the Tab key on your keyboard.
