Needs One More Feature
I love this app and I use it several times a week to wake up various computers on my home network. It never fails. However, I have a similar app I use on Windows PCs and after sending a magic packet, it pings the target computer and lets me know when it it is awake and usable. If Remote Wake Up had that feature, it would be a solid 5 stars.
Works as Advertised
App wakes my wifi connected Windows Mini with no issues.
Does not work with Catalina, no support
I have been unable to wake my Windows over the internet since upgrading to Catalina. FAQ's don't address this issue and emails to support have gone unanswered. I would not recommend this app.
Does not wake devices
I tried this program because of the slick interface but it failed to wake my Intel NUCs. I ended up just using wakeonlan CLI tool insted which worked fine.
Maybe Not Compatible with My Setup?
Entered all the information but couldn’t get it to work. I think the problem is that I wasn’t able to enter the Subnet “Broadcast IP” of x.x.x.255 I used a different program where that field is available and was able to wake my PC with that application. System is Windows 10. ASUS-ROG G20 PC Realtek PCI-E NIC Ensured my Bios, Network Card, Router, etc., settings were all correct. As I said, the only difference between this app and the one that works for me was the other app allowed me to add the broadcast address.
