  video plays fine, isn’t useful as a screensaver

  This program doesn’t integrate with Windows’s screensaver or sleep mode. Normally a Windows screensaver will do two things: 1) allow the system to go to sleep eventually, if you’ve set it to, 2) not interrupt certain programs like Netflix/Silverlight running fullscreen. This program, when running (and the option to bypass sleep mode is NOT checked) does not allow the computer to ever sleep. So if the screensaver starts when you leave the computer for the night, when you check it in the morning the video will have been running and monitor have been on the whole time. I finally deleted it when I was watching a movie fullscreen and it interrupted. This makes it totally useless. It ran the video beautifully, too, I wish I could use it!

  My favorite screensaver

  Pretty nifty app. I love it because when I am working at my desk, I can have a nature documentary playing in the background, much cooler than any standard screensaver. 4 stars because this is good and useful, but not completely polished yet. I do have some feature requests for the future - 1. check box in preferences to have it open at login. I added it manually to my login items. 2. I would like to have multiple monitor support (playing two different movies would be even better!) Right now, one screen stays black and the other plays the movie. 3. I would like the ability to set a folder of movies to be used at random instead of just one. Variety is the spice of life. Again, great work, and I look forward to more updates!

  Great but needs multiple monitor support

  I really like this app, I feel like it was worth the price but all it needs is the ability to play different videos on different screens when running multiple monitors.

  Nowthis one doesnt work either. Clearly not the Dev's fault as Microsoft is systematically preventing ALL screensaver functions from operating. So, im not exactly being critical of developer but Microsoft is really screwing with people who enjoy making and running screen savers. so whack-

  Does what is advertised

  I wanted to have something more attractive for my screensaver and video seemed like the thing to put on there. I found this one and it has handled the few formats that i have tried. Simple and does what is required. The only ding is that once you see the same movie over and over, you want to have it cycle through a group of videos. However, that looks like the developer is working on that. Can't wait to see that version!
