    Lots of Control

    I wanted something that would work with a USB endoscope. However I also needed it to flip (Mirror) both Horizontally and Vertically and to be able to easily control those settings. It also needed to work on an older OS. This does all the above and more. It allows control over format, file size, bitrate, timestamping etc. It also allows basic editing. One thing I’d like to see is a “reset to default” option for the Record settings as a novice could easily mess them up... The only drawback is that this “Lite” version is limited to 50 seconds recording - still, it’s a great way to check it out and is a very small (10Mb) and quick install. For more record time upgrade to the full version for $4.99.

    Very dumb/old “security” cam. Doesn’t turn off recording light. No remote viewing.

    Yet it doesn’t prevent the recording light on your Windows’s webcam from turning on. I also don’t know of any way to connect to this video feed remotely, which is very important for anyone who takes their security seriously.
