Camfrog Video Chat Features and Description

1. The video chat rooms are hosted by broadband users who are running the Camfrog Video Chat Room Server software so any user can set up their own multi-user video conference for other users to join.

2. Camfrog Video Chat allows multi-user videoconferencing where you can join a room with up to 1000 users and just click a user name to begin seeing someone.

3. Camfrog Video Chat allows you to join real streaming video chat rooms where you can hear, see, and chat with many people at a time.

4. Camfrog Video Chat is optimized for broadband users so it has fast video.

5. Instant message a user to get to know them before you Webcam chat, and add them to your contact list.

6. No Webcam is required to see people, but some rooms might not allow users without Webcams.

7. Press the 'talk' button to talk to the entire room with audio.

8. This videoconferencing software also works behind most firewalls and routers.

    Not Windows Friendly, especially after the Yosemite update

    Camfrog used to be pretty good for Windows, even though the developers treated the Windows users like second class citizens. Many of the features available for the Windows version were never implemented for the Windows OS. After the yosemite update, Camfrog has become useless. Sluggish and frustrating. The developers now seem to have little or no interest in fixing it. Now they spend all their time writing cutesy cartoons and dreaming up ways for the already lifetime members to spend more money for silly features like colored user names and such.I really miss being able to chat with friends via Camfrog, but I'm not holding my breath waiting for them to fix the Windows version. It should also be said that out of 170+ applications on my Windows, camfrog was the ONLY one to become unusable after the Yosemite update

    CamFrog Croaked

    My camfrog used to work great and I had a lot of fun with it. I bought camfrog pro and now since the last update of El Capitan it has croaked on the lily pad. PalTalk bought it and I have written many times to support and they really do not want to make it work. PayPal ,I think wants you to get the latest version of what ever they have and you spend money eventually. I do have a CamFrog Pro key and now even the version I just downloaded here on Aplle is not logging in. SO what is happening Microsoft, Camfrog and PayPal. Is it all about more money or what ?
