    Good TV-watching interface, missing a lot of other features

    Things this does well: watching live TV. Does a good job connecting to the dongle, scanning for channels, and showing you information — signal strength and battery, EPG for upcoming programs, etc. With that said, *do not* buy one of these things and plan on recording TV. There is no scheduling support, and it won’t let you pick where to put recordings. It records in a deeply hidden directory (~/Library/Containers/kr.co.icube.TivizenMac/Data/Library/Application Support/kr.co.icube.TivizenMac/viewer/Recordings/, yeesh) in a format that no player on earth can seem to decode. (It’s a .TS file, but not the kind that VLC, MediaInfo, HandBrake or ffmpeg can understand, apparently). Good luck watching your recordings anywhere but on the PC where you created them, in this program, only. For the next version, *please* improve recording support. I want to like this software, I really do! Also: I guess they don’t sell enough of these dongles, because there appears to be *no* user-support forums or community discussion of the devices or this software.
