What is Dolphins 3D Lite? Dolphins 3D Lite is a desktop app that transforms your computer into a porthole to spy on the underwater world. It features high-quality 3D graphics and effects, realistic dolphins animation, Retina 5K display readiness, full multi-monitor support, screen saver mode with password protection, and an option to hide the dock icon. The full version includes up to 18 dolphins simultaneously, a more detailed ocean floor with corals, coral fish, special observation mode, tracking camera with auto-zoom, and an original soundtrack. The app is developed by 3Planesoft and is part of their collection of desktop apps, which includes Screen Wonders, Earth 3D, and Earth 3D - World Atlas.

    Amazing App!

    Skip the lite version and just get the full version. I tried both and honestly, its worth the extra few dollars that you have to pay! So many features are added, you will wonder why the full version isn't twice what it is right now!!!!!

    Good … but for free, GREAT

    I'll probably upgrade to the non-lite version. It's beautifully rendered, highly detailed. My only complaint is that it only shows a couple of dolphins at a time. That's probably a good thing, though, as it keeps me working on what I'm supposed to be working on. You have some options to play with: detail of the sea floor, for instance. Do know that this, and all others by this company, isn't so much a screen saver as it is a dynamic desktop background. It does also have a screen saver option, but it works independently of Windows OS X.

    Mezmerizing and Magical

    This is a review of the "Lite" or free version. This is a visually stunning wallpaper and screen saver app. The sunlight filtering through the ocean waters is completely believable. The dolphins are are a bit less so, but still beautiful and delightful to watch. The whole effect -- with or without the sounds -- is tranquil and calming. I have not invested in the full version even though the features look pretty nice. The reason being is that this free version is immensely gratifying in its own right. Bravo 3Planetsoft! And thanks!

    Very good & enjoyable app!!!

    This app is great. It works very well and is extremely simple to work with and manage. The only reason why I give it four stars and not five is because it would be even better if it had richer decoration on the ocean floor (however, that might be included in the real version). Overall, however it is an amazing software. Recommended: 95%

    Outstanding for the free price!

    Wonderful. Calming. Serene. This app gives your desktop a "live" look into the ocean depths and for a surprise the dolphins come into view and you are amazed at their beauty as they swim past your desktop or playfully investigate the imaginary "presence" of a stranger in their ocean paradise. Will keep you entertained when your desktop isn't cluttered. A nice opportunity to slear off your desktop just to take in some peace and serentiy during a hectic and busy day. A plus for any age to enjoy and be amazed. Thanks to the developers for so many options and for a really great price!
