Big Letdown from Previous Mortimer Beckett Games
This was disappointingly simplistic. I've always looked forward to the next Mortimer Beckett game because they were always well thought-out and well designed. But, this one seems like it was designed for five year olds. There's only a handful of hidden objects in each location, along with super easy puzzles to solve. Even then, the hidden objects are usually so obvious and poorly hidden as to defy the genre of "hidden object". I'm convinced that the creative genius that worked on previous Mortimer Beckett games has left the building. I won't be anticipating the next Mortimer Beckett game.
Windowed view fixes mouse issue.
I use a track pad with my Windows. The cursor would not rise above a level about two inches up from the bottom of the monitor. This means I can only access the exit button when the app launches. I thought maybe it was the track pad not playing nice with the app so I pluged n a corded mouse; same result. This is my first Mortimer app, I hope there is an update soon. Windowed view fixes mouse issue. Had to open on a second monitor then go to windowed view, now it works on main monitor as well. Ful screen bug on 27" Windows.
