    the new interface is TRASH

im glad this great old game didnt die. i paid for the first game and they just quit updating it to work. really angered me. so i was reluctant to buy the game AGAIN. but i love the game. so i paid the money AGAIN. not even a discount for the customers they took money from and then stopped making the game work on Windows. sadly this game has been very throughly buthered in its remaster. the new interface is amazingly super small even on a BIG monitor. very hard to see, understand and use. the main interface should NOT have been changed as is changes and really destroys the main way you interface with the game in a horrible way. its totally unintuitive frustrating and doesnt work for me at all. the remaster really made me hate a game i loved. Why would i want to completly relearn to play a classic game ?

    Great classic made better!

I have been waiting for this to hit the App Store for a while now and the wait was worth it. I'm ruuning the game flawlessly on a 2020 Windows Book Air i3 intel core processor, medium settings with no issues. I had the orginal version for Windows and spent many hours playing. In comparison to the orginal version the improvments are excellent and make the purchase well worth it. Very well done !

    Dissapointingly Glitchy

Long time Total War fan here. I play several other TW games on my computer and they are every bit as good as you'd expect. Was delighted to see this re-issue sadly, it has its issues. Battles are very slow to load, the game is glitchy with regular issues interupting game play, especially in battles, and the game crashes often. Disappointing. I'm giving it two stars instead of one, because when it works you can see glimpses of the Rome Total War you once knew and loved.

    Big bugs!!

So I played this on a PC many moons ago and it worked fine - not a single bug. Bought this for my Windows and the following doesn't work: 1. Whilst you can embark whatever unit onto a ship, you can't disembark off..so I couldn't invade islands etc. Your army stays trapped on board... 2. You can't attack a neutral faction....it asks whether you really want to do it, but doesn't do anything when you say yes. 3. You can't click on a unit and move it, you have to highlight the units that comprise the army and then drag them all over to where you want them to go. 4. Sometime when you click to end your round, you have to click it again. This sometime logs another time period and sometimes it doesnt. 5. There is no difference in degree of difficulty in the lower levels.

    Horrible

I feel like I've been cheated. The description for the app said to click on 'more' to check if my PC was ok for this program. I checked and everything was ok. I purchased the app and it will not load up. It turns out that you have to go to there web site and there are further requirement regarding the OS. It is shameful that this information would not be with the other information but scattered around. feel like I've been victimized.
