This is a breakthrough game
Fun to play with a great storyline. It's fun because so many pain points have been removed. Movin garound is simple. Click on where you want to go in the very detailed scenes and you go there. Click on a back arrow and you go back. You don't get lost and even better you don't get dizzy. Stuck on what to do next just click on the hint and you get a great suggestion on what to do. Stuck on a puzzle? Click on hint and you get the next step in the puzzle. No having to leave the game and look on the Internet for solutions. The game is split into chapters. Pay a small amount on the App Store and you get a chapter. Very nice business model. I played prologue for free on Microsoft Arcade and buying chapter 1 and then chapter 2 was a no brainer. Add in the game does not do data collection and this is the business template I wish more games would use. Great puzzles - fun game. A winner.
Good Game
This Meridian series is the first time in a long while I've felt a game was worth the money to play. The Prologue got me intrigued. Chapter 1 felt a bit short, but Chapter 2 is a nice length. The series has an interesting story line, nice graphics, and a sense of mystery and suspense to it. Sort of Myst like. While the logic of some of the puzzles make no sense to me even after knowing the solution, mostly they are enjoyable and solvable. I'll be buying the final chapter when it comes out.
Super game!
This is a great game. Fun and exciting. Someone really put a lot of work into this A LOT OF WORK. Very smooth flow to the game, everything makes sence. The visuals are stunning, the mood really gets you into it. The music is perfect, not too loud and no annoying loops. I had no idea there was another chapter, I cannot wait till it comes out.
No Ending???
Gameplay was passable, but the puzzle quality was spotty. Some were intuitive and reasonably challenging while others just made no sense. Even after using the hints I did not understand the solution. These were too opaque -- clues just didn't connect to the actual solution. But the final insult is that when you get to the end...it isn't the end. Apparently Chapter 3 hasn't yet been developed? Who releases part of an adventure game without having finished the rest of the story? Very disappointing!
Fun but confusing at times.
I REALLY enjoyed playing this game, I couldn't stop playing for hours! The only issue is that even on the normal mode, some of the hints won't help. I'm not so great at math, and I was STUCK quite a few times, but my husband helped me solve some of the equations to unlock things. Other than the some things being super hard to solve, it was so fun to play!
