Meridian 157 Overview

What is Meridian 157? Meridian 157: Chapter 2 is a point and click adventure game available on the App Store. The game follows David Zander, a forensic meteorologist, as he investigates a strange weather anomaly off the coast of Alaska. In Chapter 2, David finds himself trapped in a remote sub-Arctic island facility while searching for the anomaly. Players must explore the uninhabited complex, solve puzzles, and uncover the truth behind the secret of the 157th meridian. The game features a custom soundtrack and sound effects, hard and clever puzzles, a logical hint system, and is available in 9 languages. A new color-blind mode is also available.     It really is good

    When you see a lot of ratings giving it 5 stars you don’t always trust it but this time it is the correct rating. I like these kind of mystery puzzle games and this one was really fun. Some puzzles were difficult and very tempting to push the clue button. It is nice to have it there so your game is not completely disrupted but I love the option of making it harder for yourself. I cannot say enough about how much fun this was and how much it took my mind off of COVID. Where are more games like this?

    I love the mystery and mood of this one!

    The sense of mystery and suspense is excellent with this game. Some of the games are frustrating and I had to get some help, but the challenge of some puzzles made the game last longer (mostly in a good way). Some of the props threw me off and I kept thinking I was going to have to play pool, play darts or cook eggs. I found the duct work a little confusing and almost couldn’t make it back to the bathroom. The feeling of desolation felt very real.

    Great game!

    A long ago lover of Myst and this game has some similarities. As a 73 year old trapped inside by Covid I needed cerebral stimulation and this provided all I could ask for! Puzzles challenged me but hints were helpful. I confess to using the puzzle pass several times. Storyline and music gave goosebumps a couple of times. I have just finished Chapter 1….anxious to see what chapter 2 has in store.

    Just hard enough

    This is challenging and I considered giving up a few times, then I took a break and came back to dicover something I had missed. I think this was just challenging enough to be interesting but not discouraging. (Full disclosure: I did look online at a walk throught twice to keep me going).

    Excellent! Great Value!

    Very well done! Hours of entertainment. I love the puzzles. The few times I asked for a hint, I got just enough information to allow me to understand the puzzle without giving away the solution. I'd write more, but I'd rather play. I'm headed back to the App Store for Chapter 2.
