Book Tracker Overview
What is Book Tracker? Book Track is a free app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac that allows users to track their book collection, including books they own and books they want to own. The app displays information and cover art for each book, and users can mark books as read, reading, or unread, as well as add tags to help with organization. Book Track also includes a quote-saving feature, library and reading statistics, and support for importing books from other apps and services. The app is synced across all devices and includes deep integration with iOS and macOS, as well as privacy protection. A single in-app purchase unlocks support for unlimited books on Mac, and a separate purchase is required to unlock the full iPhone and iPad app.

8. Whether a book is in your 'Library' or your 'Wishlist,' Book Track displays information and gorgeous cover art for all of them.
9. - Quote saving — Find a passage within a book that you want to save for later? Book Track can save your favorite quotes in one place so you can read them again later.

Exaclty the app I was looking for
Iwanted an application that I could use to inventory my Geneaolgy books. I have some books in print and others as PDF/ eBooks. I needed a visually pleasing way I could keep track of all of them in one place. I also needed a wish list section so that i could keep track of those rare out of print books I am hunting for. I'm excited I was able to find Book Track in the app store. The app meets those needs perfectly. I also really appreciate how beautiful this app was designed. Far to often when I working with genealogy programs they work well but leave a lot to be designed in the graphics department. There are a couple bugs still being flushed out; like the year released field still not allowing input. With that being said, I purchased this app yesterday and there was already an update today adding the ISBN field as well as a few other improvemnts. If you are looking for an app that is super affordable, has current developer support, is beautiful and easy to use, give Book Track a shot.
Looks polished, needs documentation
At first flush, this is a servicable app. I would say 5 stars for basic usage, which is likely what most people could use this for. As a power-user, with a library of over 800 books, many of which are likely out of print, it is not intuitive to import from any system that isn't listed. CSV didn't work. So I docked one star for the lack of documentation or support for standard import file formats. it is simply implausible to manually add 800 books, or hope that Google/Amazon has those books listed. For many though, this app may be exactly what you need, and for the price point, you can't go wrong.
Very Clean App But...
So I'd like to start by saying this app is fantastic - it's clean and the UI makes it feel like it's actually a Native Microsoft-made product, and that's fantastic. My biggest issue with the application is the UX. No matter what task I'm performing (adding a book, adding a series, adding a tag, editing a book, etc.) I feel like I have to perform far too many clicks to accomplish the task. The UX isn't quite as intutive or polished as an active native Windows app and that's what's holding this back.
Brilliant
Book Track is simply fantastic. Clean design, super easy to use and highly intuitive, and in combination with the iPhone app, it makes cataloging quick and straightforward. I have books in different languages and bought in different countries, and Book Track has no issues finding them when I scan the barcode. I love how there is so much of each entry that you can customize - from changing the photo of a book's cover to match your edition, to add tags, to change ratings to your liking, and so much more. There are times I can't remember a title or an author, but I do remember the cover, and Book Track makes it quite easy to find what I'm looking for, since it lists each title with the the corresponding picture. The statistics part is also a very interesting feature. More than honestly priced, this app is such a well-thought-out gem.
