Reading Comprehension Prep Overview
What is Reading Comprehension Prep? The Reading Comprehension app is a free tool available on the Mac App Store that offers 12 original stories for grades 3, 4, and 5. The app allows users to choose between fiction, non-fiction, or a mix of both, and test their comprehension with a variety of questions about the selected passages. The app is aligned with CCSS and works well in classrooms for independent study time. An All Access Subscription is available for purchase, which includes 180 stories from 2nd grade to 8th grade level, the ability to create multiple student profiles, and audio for each story to be read out loud. The app is designed to increase student reading comprehension and their scores. User feedback has been positive, with teachers praising the age-appropriate selections and challenging questions.
